George & Libby

George and Libby are just precious! Using a pattern by RK Creations as a guide, I made George and Libby in honor of the queen's visit to the states.
George measures 15 inches tall. He has painted eyes and a stitched nose. His hair is sheep's wool that I handstitched to his head.
George wears a blue jacket made from a heavy material. He has two gold stars pinned to the front of jacket and a gold button holding it closed. George's pants are made from muslin and he has painted legs and shoes. On the top of his shoes I painted a small gold buckle.
Libby measures 17 inches tall to the tip of her hand stitched crown. She also has painted eyes, a stitched nose and sheep's wool hair.
Libby is dressed in Americana colors. She has painted boots which I have laced and tied.
This wonderful set will come to you signed and dated with their own names tags and a silver heart with the words "hand made with love" inscribed on it.
