Primitive Dorothy and Toto

Oh....I had fun making this set!
Dorothy is made from lightly stained muslin. She has a pinched nose and mouth. I hand-painted her eyes. She measures 38 inches tall from the top of her curls to her sparkling shoes!
Dorothy wears a homespun jumper skirt and white cotton blouse. I sewed wood buttons to her straps. Dorothy has painted socks that I trimmed in lace. Her shoes are painted and sprinkled with glass glitter. I also attached a red bow to the top of her shoes.
Dorothy has curly brown wool hair that I hand-stitched to her head. Just like Dorothy, she has braids and cute little bows that match her jumper.
Dorothy carries her basket of goodies.....although this one is empty except for the homespun piece I stuck in there!
ToTo is made from muslin. He has been stained, painted and dry brushed. I tied a raggedy piece of homespun around his neck.
Dorothy will come to you with ToTo, her basket and a tag that reads "Dorothy and ToTo". They also come with a silver heart that reads "Handmade with Love". This set will be signed and dated.
